Prismatic Burst gains No levels from + to cold skill gems.

Using prismatic burst It has the spell tag, the cold tag, it has a skill component that can be supported by stuff like Archmage.
So given it can be supported by supports that require a skill(archmage) tag, I can only assume that the + to the level of all cold spell skill gems not applying is a bug. With this, u assume that no + to level of x skill gems will apply to the skill at the current. Last bumped on Apr 8, 2023, 4:35:11 PM

Prismatic Burst is a support gem, not a skill gem.

It is both, it can be supported by other supports.

The Prismatic Burst spell that is triggered by the gem can be supported by supports, but that does not make it a skill gem.

" Other than the how-to-use text at the bottom of support gems, support gems specify they augment Skills, Attacks, Spells, etc. Not Skill Gems, Attack Gems, Spell Gems etc. The wording is important. For all I know it was supposed to be that Prismatic Burst does gain benefits from + Skill Gems, but the current wording does not imply that it should. |

Really sad this might be the case, this was a unqiue interesting potential for a build. Now useless.
