Why do i have to login to trade website to search items? Who came up with this..

title. this is a horrible and clunky [Removed by Support]. bring back poe.trade
i don't want use this scuffed side with forced login, and it auto whispers every person ingame if you look up an item.. ???? What happend to the good old times, where you have to DM ingame manualy? Also the trade website is still super buggy like back in the days.. i always used poe.trade, that side worked well and fast.. this new side is [Removed by Support] and i have to literally use another browser, and login to search anything, cause in firefox all you see is 3 rotating wheels for hours. sorry , i forgot that i am returning player.. i wanted trade a bit, figured out poe.trade is down.. and now i have to use this website here instead.. that force me to login, and then not working unless i go other browser...

well if you login in to post in forums you also log in to trade part i dont see any problems.it always was like that that you need login. even poe trade ask you to login 1 time if you wanna check web version
Trading works fine for me at least. |

i have nothing special installed. addblock yeah.. but that most people have lol.

First, if you log in once, you're logged in 'forever', unless you're very afraid of GGG's cookies. Second, you don't have to 'direct whisper' if you don't want to, you can still copy paste like you used to.

I don't know what you mean by "it auto whispers every person ingame if you look up an item". It only whispers in-game if you click the button on an item that tells it to whisper in-game.
And that is actually a great feature, because as a seller, I can tell that the whisper hasn't been modified by some buyer trying to scam me by changing the asking price and hoping I don't notice. I don't have to spend time and brainpower verifying everything. Those special whispers also allow the game client to highlight the item in my stash so I don't have to spend time and brainpower searching or filtering for the item. As for bugs on the website, I haven't noticed the behavior you're describing. Honestly, I much prefer the official trade site over the old poe.trade in nearly every way, although I admit I'm not a heavy trader so maybe that makes a difference. I switched over a few years ago, and I think the preference is mainly based on what one is used to. - here's my sig
