Melee occultist. Echoforge.

Ello. I've kinda short question..
If i want to play occu with an Echoforge pure chaos 2H sword and actually fighting with it, what skill or kind of "secret conversion" mechanic can i use to have at least some damage above my 300k poisoned ice crash?

I like to play like this, but i can not invent something worthwhile for plenty of time already.
I'm fine with surviving but my damage just meh..

If that's the boost you get, you need to fix your tree. You need to actually stack strength if you are going to use those boots.

Yeah.. But 40 div (which i will never have anyways) for some flat damage seems not big of a deal without any extra mechanics..
This game have so much items and thingys that i learn every day, but so few that interacts with chaos.
I know that i can try using forbidden gems to get elementalist's ignite maybe.. But there's not much damage still.
At least 80 times less damage than just go phys>cold>fire>ignite

Yeah if 40 div is that much of a barrier for you, strength stacking chaos is not for you. When built properly it's an insane boost in damage but you need to fully commit to strength stacking (a couple thousand strength) for it to be worth it. You can't just slap them on.

Maybe focus on the hits alone, but you'll lose Plague Bearer.

Palsteron has a far tankier guide on poison occultist which uses a proper dagger.

It's kinda anti-synergy to use 2H to apply poison. Make up your mind on what type of build you are trying to pull off.
