Equip related keystone+timeless jewel?

If I equip something that allocates a keystone like Emperor's Vigilance shield and a timeless jewel to modify it, will it work? The effect will change?

you can't use this way to get the timeless jewel keystone, you must allocate the keystone within the jewel radius in your skill tree, not from Emperor's Vigilance




But this way you can have your allocated keystone modified in main passive tree , and have that keystone granted from Emperor's Vigilance instead

Well, that sucks x.x Would be kinda fun, if we could. Many different builds would be possible.

To transform a Keystone you anyways have to take a nearby jewel socket and put a Timeless Jewel there. It would save you a few passive points. I don't see how this restricts builds. I find the current implementation much more elegant.

He is asking by not allocate in the skill tree, but grant from item, does it convert too. (the answer is no anyway)
