My game is randomly closing

I am about done with this game. I have been having this issue for 5 months now.
I have done everything everyone suggests and I still having issues, triple checked my hardware and everything is working perfectly. windows 11 graphics rtx 3070 ti Processor AMD Ryzen 9 7900X 12-Core Processor, 4701 Mhz, 12 Core(s), 24 Logical Processor(s) Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 32.0 GB If I don't get a fix I will be uninstalling this game and never coming back. i am tired of all the dead ends and no answers. why the hell is there are no error codes or logs. I don't even know what the hell is happening. All of my other games work perfectly. I will give this post a month and if I don't get a response for the support team I will uninstall and warn everyone one about this nonsense. ps: i did find this CreateBuffer: The GPU device instance has been suspended. Use GetDeviceRemovedReason to determine the appropriate action. (GetDeviceRemovedReason: The GPU will not respond to more commands, most likely because of an invalid command passed by the calling application.) You can find it here --> "C:\Program Files (x86)\Grinding Gear Games\Path of Exile\logs\Client.txt" Since you have an AMD CPU and running Windows'11 my first thing to do would be to install Windows'10 since there have been known issues with AMD CPU's and Windows'11. This is my PC and I am running windows'10 without any kind of problem --> AMD 5800x, 32GB 3600 MHz ram, Asus TUF OC 3070Ti, Samsung 980-Pro 1TB Gen4 NVME SSD It can also depend on you using DX11, Vulcan or DX12 (beta). As a minimum you should do this --> 1. Set sound channel to LOW. 2. Set texture to medium. You should also run packcheck,exe as "an administrator" and remember to start the game as "an administrator" + delete the local cache files here --> C:\Users\"your windows account name"\AppData\Roaming\Path of Exile\ It's also possible it can be something with your motherboard, so make sure you have installed latest bios + installed latest vendor driver for the motherboard hardware like chipset drivers and so on. Are you running any kind of OC on the CPU / MEM / GPU ? Lastly what PSU do you have ? GL Exile. PS.: Can I get all your currency and high value items in standard before you uninstall ? " I have done all that you have suggested and my os is fine, all of my other games work perfectly fine. if it was the os then I would have the same issues with those games. and for oc yes and no, I tested it with both and still running issues. I even done a clean wipe of the os and reinstalled it and same with the game. I tried it on the lowest settings and i have tried the whole cache, all my drives are up to date and same with windows update. same with windows store updates. Adding what worked for me, in the hopes it helps someone else.
Running Windows 10 in a dual screen setup (this is relevant). I would start the game, and it would either crash immediately (not even seeing the gears), or crash at character selection or I'd actually log in, get to my hideout, and then it'd crash. The cause appears to be that whilst the game was set to use my headphones, Windows was set to use the monitor HDMI audio out. Whenever someone pinged me on WhatsApp, the game would crash. Solution was to swap windows to _also_ using headphones, and the problem went away. This also accounted for the intermittent crash. Crash-log was useless, last line was: " |
