Shader cache folder missing, force to download shader each time.
Hi,
Each time I launch the game, the shader seems to be downloaded and are not persisted in cache. I have to wait 20~ seconds when I open a map before seeing any enemies. When using F1, the Shader jauge is full during this time, all other stats are normal. I tried delete all cache folder in "my games" folder under "path of exile", but since then, I see that no folder has been created since then. Does anyone know how to fix that? Here's my display config

" The location have been moved to here --> C:\Users\"your windows account name"\AppData\Roaming\Path of Exile\ Also it sound like you either have a HDD / SSD problem or not enough "windows rights" for the game folder. Try running the game as "an administrator". |

Thanks for the information, I've cleared the cache again, and run as administrator, but didn't see any improvement (I'm already on SSD).

" you sure you are looking in the correct user directory ?? --> https://imgur.com/a/U1Zfnpg Maybe you have a problem with firmware on the SSD disc or motherboard settings / chipset driver. Or local antivirus / security software slowing disc access down. Last edited by HanSoloDK#4843 on Feb 17, 2023, 10:42:39 AM

Yes, after deleting the folders, the game has created them again, that how I found out that it was no longer in mygames, since the folder were not created back.
I'll look at the antivirus, but at least, it's a lot faster than before after deleting the cache! |
