Harvest Lifeforce Drops are a bad Joke (SSF)

Im currently target farming blue Lifeforce for a 15k craft.
I set my Atlas accordingly. I run 4 Scarabs (rusted because SSF), corrupt my Maps and try for +25 Packsize on "bad" maps. Heres the shit part: Dropping UNDER 100 Lifeforce of the target one Just screw this rate My Last Map, making me post this: 60% Packsize 145% Quant 22% Altar Quant (lol...) 46 !!!!!!! Blue 432 red 675 yellow --- T16 MAP SHOULD AT LEAST HAVE 1 RARE MOB PER FIELD They should not be able to drop so shit amounts. This is beyond infuriating --- This is also not a "small samplesize". While yes, I have only farmed "a few" Maps, its showing a clear Trend and I hate it. And that all on top of Harvest being a Joke of its former glory. And im not talking about Release Harvest here... They've made their intention to kill harvest rather clear, and had been doing so for several patches, slowly. While removal of top grade crafts like (just add modifier and just remove modifier without downsides) at the beginning could be understandable, removal of small QoL crafts like jewel implicits, gem to facetor lens (ridiculously expensive now, no one will use it with such crappy lifeforce drops), and fracturing crafts, serves no balance purpose other than "screw you, we want you to waste time in slot machine and nowhere else".
Lifeforce drop rates are even worse if you take into account how rare is Sacred lifeforce now. Not sure what you are even going to achieve by fully speccing into Harvest. |

Perhaps adding passives to the Atlas tree that would allow you to choose which color of life force you want to drop would be massive QoL for everyone.
Possible Solutions: 1. Three Atlas passive nodes that can prevent the appearance of a certain color, similar to the atlas passives that can prevent the appearance of certain league mechanics. So three nodes that says, "Crops in your Harvest Areas can no longer be (Yellow/Blue/Purple)" and maybe a background boolean error message if someone tries to spec into all three at the same time. 2. Three Atlas passive nodes that increase the chance for a certain color to appear by at least 50%. An error message of course is also needed in this case if someone tries to spec into all three just incase someone isn't reading the data properly. |

" Tree already has these, but problem is, Harvest needs just too many points invested for too little gain, mainly because you cannot spawn grove via map craft or scarab, and have to take a lot of spawn chance points. this league ive traded upwards of 10 divines worth of life force.
is it bad? not exactly. over a long period of time i get to harvest a lot of life force. can it be better? yes clearing an entire patch and getting ZERO life force, simply feels bad and happens often enough. just that i actively ignore the feelsbad and just zoom on to the next. i used to remember yolo crafting random stuff, even MAPS. every patch meant i was able to do something. now? juice up ur map bois, else you get nothing. i dont like doing patches and getting nothing. but then again this is POE, the game where you can run a breach and get a small handful of fragments if any at all [Removed by Support] Last edited by exsea#1724 on Feb 6, 2023, 10:29:29 PM
