Shield crush and attack modifiers

Does anyone know if Shield Crush takes into account modifiers on weapons that say something similar to like "attacks with this weapon inflict x" or basically will shield crush interact with the bonus lightning damage from ephemeral edge or other uniques with similar modifiers?

Anything that's local to a weapon does not affect Shield Crush. This is why Prismatic Eclipse or Scaeva can be useful, as they have global modifiers that can work well with it.

Anything "with this weapon" won't even affect your other weapon in a dual wield situation, much less a shield. Anything referencing weapons will also not work for shield skills.

To give you an idea of how extreme it is, if you craft "Hits can't be evaded" on your weapon, it won't help your shield's accuracy.
