Lucky and unlucky stat/mod

So I know it used to be that critical damage can be lucky not sure if something changed or just the flasks saying differently now, but what about the lightning mastery thing tho, there's a 'non critical strikes are lucky' if I take that, does it mean that my crits are no longer lucky then, and just my non crits are lucky, or are they both lucky then? Kinda confused here

Normal hits and crits are rolled separately.

"lucky/unlucky" means the roll is done 2x and best/worse result is taken.

Read wiki ....
"Crits chance is lucky" means you basically get 2 chances to score a critical
Lets say your crit chance is 50%, if you trow the dice and score, its critical, but if you fail, you get to trow the dice again, basically making it 75%. It will still show 50% on the tool because it always shows the chance per roll, so some math is needed to get the actual chance

"Damage is lucky" means the damage roll gets 2 rolls. If the damage range is 1-100 and your dice gets 100, its 100, but if its 40, you roll again. If its bigger than 40, the second roll is the one that counts, but if its smaller, its the first roll. In reverse, "damage is unlucky" means the lowest roll is taken. If the second is bigger than 40, it takes 40, and if its smaller, than it takes the second roll

In your chase, it seems its lucky for both crits and non-crits damage, so yes, it means all your damage is now lucky, BUT pay attention if it means "critical damage" or "critical chance", the first means you get chance to do more damage on a lucky hit, second means more chance for a hit to be critical. Wording is important on poe
You are referring to the diamond flask nerf on 3.15.0.

3.15.0
Diamond Flask no longer grants 'Your Critical Strike Chance is Lucky'. It now grants 100% increased Critical Strike Chance.

As above poster said, "Lucky" in POE means rolling twice and keeping the best result. It is like a MORE multiplier which is better than INCREASED addition.

'non critical strikes with lightning skills are lucky' - Your non-crits roll twice and keep the best result. Highly beneficial for lightning damage which tend to have high variance (low mins and high maxes). Your crits are not affected at all. If you crit most of the time, this node does almost nothing.

Could be reffering to that keystone from a timeless that seals helm and makes both crit chance and crit damage lucky. I think there was some veiled mods that give lucky crit chance too

It just says Lightning damage with non critical strikes is lucky,so all the damage i do thats not crit will be converted to lucky then,my only thought is since i do have around 50% crit chance if its worth taking this, since while 50% crit isnt bad by any means, its still gonna have *normal* hits that arent crits,so having those could be really good if they were lucky aswell like the crit ones, just trying to see if its worth taking this mastery or something else like maximum effect of shock increase

It's mostly worth taking on a non-crit build. If you are wondering, load your guy up in PoB and see how much the node is projected to give you.
