Maelstrom of Chaos boss's first phase and Southbound

Hey,

I'm using https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Southbound gloves on my Explosive Arrow balista character. I can kill every monster despite the gloves stating, that I need to freeze the enemy prior to killing it. For reasons unknown to me, my totems can kill anything without freezing it prior, but there's one exception. Merveil, the Reflection, the first phase of the unique Atoll map's boss Maelstrom of Chaos doesn't die with the setup described above. I removed the gloves and the boss died immediately. I feel like this is a little bit of an inconsistency :)

This just because instead of two phases as one monster, it is actually two monsters....just one spawned only after another died to simulate as "phase"
