Sanctum boss did zero resolve damage - 100% player damage
Very sad.
If this is supposed to happen - this is VERY poorly communicated. ![]() Last bumped on Jan 5, 2023, 7:08:12 AM

It's intended.
If you die, you fail the Sanctum run, and she deals a lot of actual damage (and just happens to also not damage your resolve at all). |

Well that feels quite shit. The entire league mechanic is all about protecting your resolve and the final boss ignores it?
Classic GGG. |

You can choose not to fight the final form if you wish, and still get all of the Sanctum-finishing rewards, just not boss drops from her.
Her final form is intended to be like a real boss. Her previous form was the Sanctum-style boss. |

I'm fine with that, but they do not communicate that to you in any way. It's just typical GGG design.
Lets make the boss have nothing to do with the league mechanic, excellent choice Sir! And better yet not tell the players, BRILLIANT!. Sigh. Just annoyed. |

It's intended that players learn some things on their own.
Also, you could die at any point in Sanctum and it would end your Sanctum run. It just happens that most of the Sanctum isn't particularly threatening unless you're playing an extremely fragile build (but it is still possible to get killed before your Resolve is brought to 0). If anything, it's a nice bonus that the final boss doesn't damage resolve at all. One less thing to worry about. |

I bricked a 4 divine sanctum because I went in blind, without researching what this is about. My resolve bar was full with 500 inspi so I thought - what is the worst thing that can happen?
A simple warning box that you're about to enter a fight with different rules than your previous 32 rooms would be nice. |
