Have two currency tabs and can only hold 5000 orbs total

I have two currency tabs and and still limited to the 5000 orbs of alteration and other currencies. I would have thought that having the second currency tab would let me hold 10000.

It does, change your affinity to the other tab OR move your first stack of 5k to that other tab (using affinities again will make this faster) and then switch the affinity back to the first one.

If you've money to blow I'd suggest getting tabs to hold whatever you're putting in the generic slots. Those generic slots are nice for overflow.

No problem :) As an aside, Kaijyuu is correct as well, if you put a single Alteration (Just using them as an example here) in the bottom row in your "main" tab (If you already have 5k alts filling up the main slot), Alts will then go to that bottom slot automatically.
