Temple of Atzoatl

The temple of Atzoatl needs more incentives to visit imo so here are a few ideas. Feel free to add your own suggestions.


Problem- The elemental workshops are too niche and dilute the pool of rooms to much.

Solution- Combine all the workshops into 1 room which buffs all elements. The room itself could then offer an option to choose which element you wish to augment the Omnitect with.

This creates space for new rooms. Id like to see a labority themed room that perhaps offer some Vaal themed recipes for the crafting bench. There could be tiers of recipes based on level of room.



Problem- Low level rooms arent worth visiting.

Solution- Make killing architects give you a bonus to rarity and quantity for the rest of the temple. Level 1 architects could offer a modest bonus, level 2 medium, level 3 decent.



Problem- Its much easier to farm Atziri outside the temple.

Solution- Make sacrifice at midnight significantly rarer. Add 1 sacrifice at midnight as a guaranteed drop from level 2+ architect in Hall of Lords or Throne of Atziri. Add 3 sacrifice at midnight as a guaranteed drop from Atziri in Throne of Atziri.


In general Id like to see level 2 architects each be given some themed smallish reward to make them more worth including in your run and more worth building into your temple.

The problem is, Incursion is literally only good for double corrupting.

Yeah im trying to think of ways to improve it whilst mostly working with the current set up.

I think a recipe room would be a big drawcard or at least some other vaal themed crafting room.

I think adding a guaranteed drop to level 2 architects makes them much more interesting and if each one offers a somewhat rare but not overly valuable reward then they can be target farmed if needed.

Perhaps adding a +1 level to next room construction bonus for killing the omnitect might incentivise trying to make him part of your temple.

tempel got a huge buff this league with the 4 rooms each map passiv

with that passiv its nearly impossible to completly fail a tempel setup if yo use it right

the reason for this is that you cant hit the same room twice in 1 map
pair that with the double upgrade chance and clever room swaping,you will end up with gem or corruption room (sometimes even both)

for the first map it might be a good option to push rnd tier 3 rooms as well because you cant hit them again

if you hit the room you want and it only goes to tier 1 or tier 2 and you still have incursions left dont talk to alva again in the same map,because this would safe the room for the next map and it cant be the on you already had in that map

sure you lose on avg 1 alva mission but that is compensated by the 4 incursions each map
