Original sin ring

Iv been using vortex with original sin, and noticed only the hit portion of vortex is being converted. If the ring only applies to hits I wish that was clarified in the rings description. Iv also noticed righteous fire does not show as being converted either. I'm also wondering if ignites would/should convert or not?

Damage conversion in this game is ALWAYS hits only. DoTs cannot be converted outside of some very niche cases (i.e. Blackflame).
