What does the beast look like?

Is it just a mound of flesh people crawl through? Lets say you simply removed the mountain it's encased in. What would it look like?

It looks like the bottom half of a Devourer.

A question I've been forced to ask as I look into the origin of the beast and its nature. The only real hint I have is a story from the Templar, speifically the Origin of Sin and Innocence, in which it talks about how Sin tried to destroy the city they where from (likely intended to more mean humanity in general) as a 'giant of flesh'. The Stained glass window depicting this however has a lot of breach lord iconography, purple flames, the breach hand, etc. It's possible the Beast is a part of, or entirely this giant of flesh.

I suspect at this point the beast is little more than an expassive mountain of uneven flesh, a blob of muscle and corpses, grown from whatever was left from this 'giant of flesh', if my gut is correct and this thing that Innocence killed wasn't Sin, but rather, a Breach Lord of Chyula (perhaps their predecessor?) that Sin needed to craft the beast (i.e a dream eating monster).

It's hard to tell of course, and PoE isn't exactly forthcoming with clear information on anything, made worse that 'what' the beast is isn't even very clear beyond some entity Sin made to remove present and future gods and limit their impact on humanity. And of course that it's big enough for humans (and apparently lots of Rhoa) to walk around in.

Imagination's the limit, I guess. The fact that it's inside a mountain, and its interior is labyrinth like, it could just be an irregular shaped mass of tissue infused with thaumathurgy.

It is a giant purple crystal--flesh looking worm/blob with a ton of eyes, I can't recall where I saw it, but it is a massive creature and has a ember in the core of it sota.

Hah... back in the days when Devourers where THE most dreaded monster in PoE... fond memories of getting my arse served on a silver platter by those guys.

i imagine it would be a big ball with a lot tentacles on it
