Vaal Smite NOT working with Smashing Strikes Notable

I noticed that Smite works with Smashing strikes but NOT Vaal Smite. Vaal Smite might also not be working with some other notables like Blunt Trauma, but i'm not sure.

100% Tested Vaal smite NORMAL attack does not Trigger 10% chance to gain an Endurance Charge on Melee Critical Strike
