Sanctum portal to final boss doesn't appear

Hi,

After betaing Lycia first phase, I'm getting a message saying that if I exit the sanctum, I will be unable to fight Lycia's true form, but there's no portal to go to the next phase.

Had the same thing happen to me twice in a row now, on Challenge runs.

Did you kill her in the gauntlet before she had the chance to spawn on the final platform? That's what happened for me, and I suspect that's the reason the portal doesn't spawn.

What was the area level that you fought Lycia in?

For me, it was on area level 83, so she should have spawned. I think the message you get indicates that you should be able to fight the final form, I don't remember it showing up when I cleared the Sanctum on lower levels.

Any update on this? Same thing happened to me and I want to make sure it doesnt happen next sanctum I complete.
