Fracturing Orb - Crafted mod
I have used 6 fracturing orbs on bows so far and every single orb has hit the crafted mod on a 4 mod item. That is .02% chance to happen and seems like something is not working as intended. Mathematically you would expect that other mods are chosen and not always the crafted mod. The process was alt/augment, regal to rare, craft 4th mod, hit with fracturing orb. 100% hit the crafted mod.
If there is a mod weighting and crafted mods are weighted higher when fracturing, it should be stated clearly that its not equal chances. Would love clarification from GGG that its been investigated Edit: Math .25^6 = .000244 to choose the specific mod 6x in a row on a 1/4 chance each time. This could absolutely be a case of unholy odds, but I'll add my anecdote that I posted in response on Discord too, since it's a similar thing.
The other day I encountered 3 or 4 Essence monsters with fractured drops, and every single one of them fractured the Essence mod on the rare item dropped via the atlas passive nodes. In my case, that's a positive result and I hope they're weighted to do that! |
