So I was trying to put together a compilation of things ailments/stuns/freeze etc, we have found to be effective or things that are extremely weak in sanctum. Now, I'm not talking about "melee is weak", that is not what I'm looking for. More like
Have you found that nearly all enemy's are stunnable in the Sanctum? What about being able to freeze them? How many have you found immune to being frozen or actions being slowed? What kind of movement skills seems to work well and what ones do not. Nugiyen has said he's found cold and temp chain builds to be quite effective. So stuff like that. What kind of debuffs have you come across or found to be hit with most often. What about floor bosses? How hard has it been to freeze/stun/incapacitate them? I'm thinking that we could come up with some builds that don't normally work well in PoE but would work very well in Sanctum. There are really only 2 movementskills for Sanctum. It's the same ones as for pretty much any endgame encounter where you have to move though mechanics without being touched by them (Sirus, Maven etc) and that's flame dash and frost blink. You can have the likes of leap slam, whirling blades or shield charge in addition to one of those 2 for faster movement in maps but all of those suck to avoid mechanics so one of the 2 blink skills is pretty much mandatory for any serious endgame build.
As for debuffs, there is a ton. Information related: Hides what kind of room it is, hides the rewards of the room, hides minimap and reduces light radius, can see one less room ahead on the map Monster upgrades: Knockback, increased damage, increased life, increased movement speed, resolve weakness on hit, binding chains on hit, guards spawn anomalies on death, guards are accompanied by gargoyls, Player debuffs: Reduced movement speed, reduced damage, lose 5% resolve on room completion, resolve loss on flask use, reduced resolve gain Merchant and coin related stuff: Merchant only has 1 offer, mechant has 50% reduced offers, merchant offers are twice as expensive and a bunch of aureos coin related debuffs There is probably a bunch more i haven't seen yet or can't remember. |

"I was wondering can you leap over the beams of death? You can frostblink through them, but can you whirling blades through them etc? And damn those are a hella lot of debuffs. |

No, you can't that's the point. Leap slam, whirling blades, shield charge all those skills are bascially like normal movement. You can move through the beams with them but you will take resolve damage and any kind of effect that's caused by the beam will be applied to you. The latter is important against Sirus or Maven where the debuff will be applied if you move through them. To avoid all that you need a movement skill that "teleports". The ones that do that are frost blink and flame dash. I think lightning warp or how it's called is also a teleport but it's never used so it basically boils down to the other 2.

" I will just use 150 regret orbs and respect to traps that 1shot the whole thing without being touched after i'm done with min-maxing my current build. This time around meta skill also happens to be way too good for league mechanic while anything melee sucks donkey card. I feel pretty, Oh, so pretty,
I feel pretty, and witty and gay, And I pity Any girl who isn’t me today! | |

totems are pretty effective in there for me , i almost always reach floor 4 boss lvl 83 and kill her but then i die to the boss after that, because my low health xD
i guess its fine once i figure out all the mechanic or kill the boss before he can attack me edit : ok just kill her before she can use attacks did the trick ^^ Last edited by Delamonica#7854 on Dec 15, 2022, 4:53:10 AM

Haven’t started league yet. Having too much fun with D2R ladder 2.

" Deep delving builds seem to work well, except that freezing has limited power vs the unique bosses and move speed is more important. Best I have seen so far is about 8M dps, 2.5k life, and something like 300$ movespeed raiders. Enough dps to melt the bosses, use the high movespeed to dodge rather than movement skills (or, use them primarily, obviously blinks have their place). |

freezing works wonders. besides that 1 hitting shit works great too but who would have thought x'D
3.26 when?
Don't abandon us. don't turn your backs on the ones loving poe. |

Agree with freezing. Started out as RF Jugg and hated sanctum. Re-rolled into Cold dot trickster content became a little easier. Watching guards and stuff get frozen is just lol's.
