So caster options the only way to deal with these guys? Melee options not working at all. What am I missing here?

The way to deal with them is to keep moving. The ability to do that has nothing to do with caster or melee. Your average melee build that's even remotely worth being called a "build" will have at least 3-4 APS. Meaning an attack time of 0.25 or 0.33 seconds. Just attack, move, attack move using that and those totems will do zdps. It's often called "stutter stepping". If you want to see how it works, watch any streamer you like they constantly do it at all times. It's worth noting that doing that turns all the AN mechanics, fireballs, toxic balls, mirage, totems, crystals and so on into complete trivia so it's a very useful skill to have.

Then any advice on how to deal with this as Flicker Striker?

Hmm... Don't see the monster casting, surrounded by totems, can't move, die.
