Loosing relics used in Sanctum on HC Death

Is it possible for us to retreive relics used in Sanctum on HC Death?

Loosing Sanctum progress on death is perfectly understandable, but loosing all the relics that were used in Sanctum on the character that died outside of Sanctum is just wrong.. The character is transferred to Standard where is no use of Sanctum, so the fact that the items are gone forever is just beyond me.

If you die in Sanctum on Softcore league you receive the relics back, why isn't the same applied to Hardcore league?

Please verify this case and allow us to receive the lost relics back on death.

because, it's hardcore. you always lose everything equipped, how you ask this as a hardcore player is also beyond me. I mean i understand it sucks, but this is what the hardcore mode is about? hench why i don't play it, i would never have items because i die to often.

This is not the point. The thing is your Sanctum progress is probably transferred with your character to Standard - just like other mechanics (Alva etc.)

The only problem is that there is no Sanctum on Standard..

It seems that the relics should not be lost on your death and the progress should be reset, not transferred with you..

Maybe it is working as intended, I don't know that - hence this post.
