Bugged relic?

I was able to run forbidden sanctum just fine. Then I've got a relic, but it kind of bugged on me (I think). I was unable to put it on the altar, I could neither store it in the relic chest. The only prompt that was showing up was discard. So I touched the altar and used the only command available to see whether it's just mislabeled (I'm using the gamepad UI, so it's the same button for me). Nope, the relic was destroyed, just as it warned about (yeah, I know ^^).

Edit: Nevermind the unable part (removed that from the post). It will actually accept empty altar. I'm just too hasty. Still, the issue with the bugged relic stands.

I am having an issue with the relics too. It appears I can't put them on the altar for whatever reason. The slots just highlight in red.

Edit: Apparently it was because the Quest was not completed. I went back to fellshrine and I completed the quest correctly. It is now working.
