Game crashing all the time when trying to enter sarn encampment.

Im stuck when i try to enter act3. Game just crashes instantly when i try to enter area. Doesnt matter if its league character or standard. Same crash. I have now my league character stuck and couple of standard characters stuck on loading screen to sarn encampment. bug report code 206 156 277.
Problem shouldnt be computer. Specs: Intel i7 12700k, RTX3070 Asus tuff, 32GB Ram DDR5 4800mhz, over 1TB free space free on computer, 750W power supply, windows 10. Just updated all the drivers and windows updates before i even started to play. worked fine until i entered act 3. Verify game integrity of game cache does nothing, server change does nothing, settings change nothing, I did everything that there was to do on tech support what you can try and nothing... running out of options. I have the same problem here and it's getting really annoying. It has happened to me since Act 1, only in town. Act 2 wasn't too bad but Act 3 was barely playable. I crashed around 80% of the time I was in Sarn Encampment. And it's a crash with no error code, the game just closes itself and I have to reboot it and hope that I don't instacrash again.
I thought after Act 3 things would get better but no, I am still crashing in Highgate Act 4. Again, only in town. I'm guessing it has to do with some MTX and maybe when someone with that specific MTX is in town, it crashes my game. If someone finds a solution please share it because it's getting unplayable. |

" Try this --> 1. Run packcheck.exe as "an administrator", 2. Delete the local PoE cache files here --> C:\Users\"your windows account name"\AppData\Roaming\Path of Exile\ 3. Now start PoE again as "an administrator". When at the login screen, select options. 4. Now set texture to MEDIUM and Sound channels to low. 5. Login to the game and remove ALL MTX from gems and gear. 6. See if the issue is resolved ? Depending if you are using DX11, Vulcan or DX12 then try changing between them..... |

This is the same for me. I crash after 2 sec in Sarn, doesnt matter what renderer I try. I also have crashlogs in the windows eventviewer

I fixed it after many trials and errors.
First I installed the latest gpu drivers -> more problems. After that removed them with DDU, rebooted, let windows install drivers and delete the cache folders in %APPDATE%\PathOfExile. Now I can finally play, hope this helps others too. |

I got my problem resolved by uninstalling the whole game and deleting all cache and other files. Downloaded again and works fine.. Tried all of the tricks in the book and nothing worked so i made clean slate and that worked.

Ok after a PC reboot crashes are back, I guess im done with the league already...

I am now in Act 10 and it's been the same thing in every act's town. My game keeps crashing over and over again, sometimes I have to start the game 5-6 times before I am able to stash everything as fast as possible and leave town before I crash again.
Again, only in towns. Haven't crashed in any other instance yet. But since we have to go back to town several times in every act it is extremely annoying. |
