Not enough mana but works anyway?

I activated Blood & Sand by deactivating another aura, then reactivating it again afterward.
So as you can see it says not enough mana and is darkened, but i can switch stance and have the graphic presentation.

Can i be sure it works?
I have no indication at all in my stats.

Im bad at math.

It works. Also you have an icon on the buff panel.

I guess so.
But why is it then darkened and says not enough mana?
Is it a bug or a feature?

Anyway... lets change topic

I removed Vitality since i never had problems with life regen.
Is there a better replacement option for more defence?

I have just a few in mind

a) defiance banner
b) dread banner
c) blood & sand (sand stance)
d) arctic armour
e) Temporal rift

I have exactly 25% mana for reservation available

Im bad at math.
I would remove flesh and stone and take defiance banner and skitterbots. And life regen is also a defense layer.

Not enough mana for skitterbots. The 25% available is without Flesh & Stone.
I run for days now without Vitality and dont feel a difference.
Use it only for Lab because of the traps.

But a lot sharpshooters in delve.
Im bad at math.
The part of "not enough mana" is a bit of a bug i guess? Stance skills reserve mana but at the same time they can be used again while already active to switch between stances without reserving mana again. So the game is in a situation where you can use the skill again (for stance change) despite not having enough mana to actually activate it. It's kinda right and kinda obsolete at the same time. The aura is working as intended anyway, just the UI is a bit confusing here.

As for auras, from the ones you've listed i'd pick defiance banner. It's not great but the other options are worse. You could go for herald of ash to get a decent amount of extra damage for the 25% mana. Other than that, i'd try to somehow fit in skitter bots by improving reservation efficiency. The provide defense and offense at the same time and are among the best auras you can use.

Personally i am running, defiance banner, tempest shield, malevolence, skitterbots, purity of ice and determination on my RF inquisitor. Flesh and stone used to be good defensively by they killed blind so it's subpar now.

How is that?
Im bad at math.
Version 1.2.0 - Blind now reduces hit chance by 50%
Version 3.16.0 - Blinded now causes targets to have 20% less Accuracy Rating and Evasion Rating.

You can get more mana reservation efficiency by using armour mastery (determ 25%) or small cluster jewel (or legacy medium).

i see. i have activeted take 30% less crit damage. isnt removing that a noticable hit on survivability?
Im bad at math.
It is. But you still have 30% reduced crit damage from sanctum of thought. Unless you have a habit of running maps with crit mods and or high level simulacrums you are unlikely to even notice the difference. The chill and damage from skitterbots on the other hand is always useful.
