Brands - multiplayer max. brands on enemy 3?

Hello,

a mate and i wanted to play in Multiplayergames together. We both wanted to play wintertidebrand. We both skilled runebinder, so that we can have an additional Brand at the enemy.
Now we were testing this in the meyhem event. An enemy, can just have 3 active brands on it?
If another player casts an additional brand, a brand from the other player falls off the boss...

Is this a bug, or part of the game, that a boss cant have more than 3 active brands on him?
We just tested it with different Brands (Wintertide and Armageddon), and still the same result. There can just be 3 brands on an enemy.

Will this be fixed? Cause Multiplayer with this cap is unplayable...

You can Contact me for further infos.
kind regards
Dennis

By default, you can only place 3 brands and attach 1 to a target.

Not a bug.

If you skill runebinder, you can have 3 active Brands on the enemy.
So if another player plays the same skill, there should be 5/6 active Brands on the enemy. 3 Of player1 and 2-3 from player2 (2 armageddon / Storm, or 3 wintertidebrands).

The Problem is that a new brand from player1 disables an active brand from player2 cause it falls of the enemy and lies on the ground.

So the cap ob brands on an enemy is 3. Not per player...

so yes, 3 per player and not 3 over all players...
You might want to reread what you quoted. You can have 3 brands ON THE FLOOR and 1 brand active ON THE ENEMY.

He also stated he's using Wintertide Brand (+1 brand attached to the enemy) alongside with Runebinder, so it does add up to 3 brands active on the enemy.

The reason probably is brands work like curses, ie the brand number limit is per enemy and not per player. By default, one enemy can have brand attached, and any effect that allows you to attach additional brands atcually means "the enemy's maximum brand limit is increased by 1 for your brands". So you can attach brands to a boss as long as they have <3 brands, same for your friend, but you can't stack 3 brands each, just like curses.

If you plan on playing together one of you should definitely drop brands and try out another skill, if only for bossing.
Brand limit is like curse limit. An enemy can have 1 brand attached to it by default. You can get modifiers to increase this number for your brands.

Ty for your answer, This was just the question i wanted to know. Then we will have to change one build to another one. Thx a lot.
But that brands work like curses, is that behavior Witten, so ist can be read?
