Wintertide Brand and Pyre

If I convert wintertide brand's damage to fire with pyre, is the fire portion considered as burning damage?

Damage conversion don't work with DoT.
And even if it did work, no it would not be burning damage.

Why though? It would be.
Burning damage is fire damage over time, so Wintertide Brand would deal burning damage.

All burning damage is fire damage over time, but not all fire damage over time is burning damage.

this is false, "fire damage over time" and "burning damage" are interchangeable terms. Differences only begin if some modifier states that it is working on specific kind of burning damage, such as only ignite or only burning ground.
