I think someone should make a Path of Exile Trade app for your phone That Links the app straight to the Path of Exile Global chat. and u can link Poe.trader to the app.
so u can trade while you poop. why not? Plus it might make GGG more money because people would be Constantly thinking about POE more. and they would proly be more near a computer all the time making trades and chatting therefor in turn they will most likely be in front of the Store shop. Hell if were going to take it this far. why Should we be limited to using Global chat only on computers in ANY pc game? why cant we have access to global chat on our phones? It can make companies alot more money couldnt it? cause the person only chatting will be always thinking about the game. and more likely play it? it u dont want to link poe trader to phones ok then fine but At least let us Use Universe Global chat on our smartphones I am looking at this as a (Whole) for the gaming community. we have the technology to connect billions of people across the world now so it just seems like this is something that would be Obvious thing to implement in our next evolutionary step. We have the Oppertunity here to "Connect" people. To me it just seems like a Fantastic *Universal* Quality of Life Improvement that ALL parties can benefit from. Global chat is a cesspool as it is now. I don't want to even fathom what it'd be like with something like your suggestion.

They should remove global chat. They can't remove spam bots so maybe it's better to just remove part of the problem. Yes, I'm aware there are few useful global channels but still.. Normal people doesn't even have global chat open, same with trade chat.
Also global chat is the cesspool of scammers. Especially rotas channel (820?) Just remove it and add something new and better but usable only by lvl hard obtainable by bots |

You cannot talk in global chat, people will mass report you from bot accounts for fun to get you muted.
If you say anything slightly off-color the mods will ban you from the entire game (not just a chat mute). It's not safe to talk in chat. |

trade league, especially near the end of league. Look at the steam forums once in awhile, at any given time you've got around 4 people complaining mods banned them or they were automuted by an automated system for thousands of hours. Threads show up here once in awhile too

please note I have no proof there is an automated system that allows mass-reporting to get people in chat muted
that is just what it looks like to me and I have seen other users in here speculating about it as well. I believe it's a fairly common theory about why the in-game chat is so bad |
