Questions regarding medium cluster jewels
Hi everyone. I hadn't been able to find clear answers on these so I am
just going to ask here. Thanks. NOTE: I am not interested in trading for this (am SSF) 1. In the example of wanting "Shrieking Bolts" notable, do you *have* to have projectile damage as an enchantment, or will projectile damage in the section below that (where you'd also find the notable itself) also work? 2. Is it currently possible to change the passive enchantment on a cluster jewel? 3. What is the best way to farm medium cluster jewels? I've been doing reliquary runs, which has found me a few delirium encounters, although thus far only large jewels. Last bumped on Oct 20, 2022, 1:39:16 AM

" 1. refer to poedb 2. no 3. delirium content, delirium reward chests in heists(demoltion contracts) |

I checked poedb at :https://poedb.tw/us/Shrieking_Bolts
It listed as enchantment "10% increased Projectile Damage". I'm going to assume that this means you have to have it present. So, as a ballpark question, how much of an enormous PITA is it going to be to farm a medium cluster jewel that has 10% increased Projectile Damage? Thanks. |

Insanely enormous pita to farm it yourself.

Kind of makes me wonder how the people who sell them, get them.
Welp, maybe I'll look into Champion ascendancy for Scion... |

For the people who sell them, the idea is that you can farm clusters but the odds you will get the one you need is slim. Now take a ton of people and you'll easily find folks who found the one you want (because they didn't find the one THEY want).

" If you just want one (with any number of passives, ilvl dont matter) then its easy in maps. Just by playing "normally" you will likely get multiples. But this is from my POV. If you are "very casual" you may indeed find that it takes a long time. If you want it as fast as possible then optimally you min-max all the things which can give them. Best is probably (but not sure, not sufficiently familiar with Heist for example) Delirium. First step would be to get enough Atlas points. Then you maximize the chance to get a Delirium mirror in a map. Then you run as many maps as possible as fast as possible. You can quit the map right away if it doesnt have a mirror. Kirac missions IIRC also can have mirrors. Edit: Some numbers. There are ~50 different enchantment types. Assuming equal odds (dont know if that is so) you then need on average less than 50 mirrors. If you have 33% chance to get one you then need less than 150 maps. And you only need to run less than 50 of them. Edit 2: There is also a 5:1 recipe so its actually less than 40 maps that you need to run part of. No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle! Simulacrum drops a ton of cluster jewels, so I imagine a lot of the supply comes from people running those.
