Character stats ingame still show Chance to Bleed on Mainhand as being a global mod
|
In 3.19, Modifiers from Weapons that grant Chance to Bleed or Chance to Poison were being changed to be local mods, only granting the Chance for the Weapon that inherits the mod, but not for the offhand, in my case a shield.
I play a SST character, using a Sword that gives Bleed Damage and Chance to Bleed. Looking at my Character Stats ingame, the chance to bleed is still displayed to count towards my Offhand (shield) chance to Bleed, which is incorrect. Bug reference: 240.696.133. " where is it ? It is not in patch notes https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3293287 The patch notes only states " Which is only specific to the bug fix to the hybrid So, post your item and point out which mod This is the start of forum signature: I am not a GGG employee. Character stats:
https://imgur.com/a/mc5v3AQ Item Mod: https://imgur.com/a/oWHT7LT Maybe i misunderstood the Patchnotes, but I was sure this is the new interaction: Weapon Chance to Poison and chnce to Bleed dont affect spells/offhand anymore and are now local. I know its not a GGG property, but Path of Building supports my theory and does not count the chance to Bleed on my sword as a global mod and does not grant it to my SST while we are at it, maybe please also confirm if bleeding damage on the sword counts towards SST or not :) Last edited by RDeschain#2348 on Oct 15, 2022, 11:45:43 AM

Note that the wording of poison mod is
"#% increased Damage with Poison, #% chance to Poison on Hit" While bleed mod is "#% increased Damage with Bleeding, Attacks have #% chance to cause Bleeding" This is the start of forum signature: I am not a GGG employee. About the username: Did you know Kowloon Gundam is made in Neo Hong Kong?

" im not sure why a "dude" is necessary here, because i think theres a big misconception in the community about this change. I just wanted to clarify because even the PoB coders seemed to have misunderstood that line in the notes ty anyways |

No, the poison mod is always without the word "attacks", so that it should be a local mod,
the bleed mod is having the "attacks" wording so that it is a global mod for all attack including offhand There is no bug or allegation that GGG omitted bleed mod, because the mod wording are different The 3.19 change is only fixing the mismatch between mod wording and the actual back end code of poison mod https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Modifier:PoisonDamage1 See the wiki page history for context. " Ok I see. I mean i totally understand the difference in the wording, having the "attacks" or not having it in the line of the mod. So thanks again for clearing my up misunderstanding of the patch notes, thinkig it also included the bleed mod. I made this topic not re-checking the actual notes, but rather by memory, which let me down here |
