Recombinator stealth nerfed?

I normally do not make threads like these but my recent experiences with recombinating gear in standard have left me with a question. Does anyone ,who made significant number of recombs in 3.19, answer me whether the chances are significantly worse for doubling stats these days? (ie crafting same stat on both items to allow much higher chance to transfer the different mod). I lost 5 double fractures and numberous single fractures using the doubling method which left me to question whether or not the old formulas are indeed current since success rate feels abysmal atm.

I can't really answer to that. I do not think GGG has touched recombinators at all since they are now old content. Probably it's just a streak of bad luck.

it seems excessive for a bad luck. In 3.19 I literally lost all but 1 of my double fracture attempts. Yesterday i tried combining legacy +140ES and +31% Spell suppression shields, lost both mods, and tried and to recomb 109%fire dmg and +3 max fire shield and lost the damage mod. Statistically speaking im in 1 in a million+ range at this point. You can only roll so many supposed 4% chances until you get suspicious. My experience in 3.18 was far better. Btw im not talking about small sample sizes, i probably did around 400+ recombs in total in 3.18 + 3.19. My experience varies drastically between patches.

I had bad runs of RNG very similar to what you describe in 3.18 (getting stats on ward bases for wardloop).
I am pretty certain GGG hasn't changed recombinator mechanics. |
