How/Where I can upgrade 4 link on Gloves/Helmet

I am new to the game. Looking for a way where I can farm/craft 4 link on gloves and helmet.

I am currently level 25 and wanted to add more support gems to my main skills.

they will just drop later in the game, you do get some jeweler and fusing orbs through the campaign but not enough to really use to link your own items.

In addition to lucky Drops, Jewellers orbs, and Orbs of Fusing, you can use and Orb of Binding to 4link your items.

however, be careful using jewelers on low level items

an item needs to be ilvl 25 before jewelers can give it 4 sockets (the bench crafting recipe can bypass this requirement)

as you keep playing, youll also just find stuff that has 4 linked sockets. its generally worth it to dedicate your first found 4 linked helm or gloves to your main dps skill + supports

(not boots, because boots are the only slot that can roll movement speed. so find some movespeed boots and get a 4link elsewhere)

Can I for example sell my 3 or 2 link helmet with something else and get same helmet back with 4 sockets and 4 links?

You can't vendor-upgrade the links or sockets on your items. Early on, you have to use the crafting bench or currency to change the links/sockets of your items.

You can vendor a 6-socket item to get 7 Jeweller's orbs, but you're not high enough level for that yet.

At the currency vendor (Nessa for A1, Yeena for A2, Clarissa for A3, etc.) you can trade up from other currencies to get Jeweller's orbs. Those vendors will also sell Orbs of Fusing.

So, if I havev a jeweler orb, what can I do with it, needing how do I use it to get 4 sockets? Do I need to have 4 sockets in order to use it, or it will automatically bring item to 4 sockets and 4 links?

its all random, I wouldn't try to socket an item yet, just use a 3L until 4L's start dropping then use those

All currency items have generally random effects that are detailed by the item description, which you can see by hovering over the item. You use currency by right clicking on the orb, and then right clicking on the item you want to upgrade.

As said above, this process is completely random, so if you don't have many orbs, you should just wait until an item with 4 sockets/links drops. links can provide a large advantage, but you don't necessarily need them.

At what level do you think I should try and create sockets with links?
