100% CHANCE TO DROP CONNECTED MAP, EXPECTED MAP NOT DROPPING AT ALL
Two observations for this issue:
1. I often see Tormented Spirits dropping an expected connected map, wich in my strategy is a specific map. 2.Some maps, even though I clear ALL THE MAP (0 monsters remain.), I got NO CONNECTED MAP. My theory is that Tormented Spirits get the map drop way too often and, in some maps, you just don't kill it, and it disappear and invalidate your drop, because you can't kill it anymore. Its annoying as hell, because i'm trying to play without having to trade for a map so I can get back to the cycle, but the game doesn't allow me because of this frustrating and irritating maps that just DON'T DROP the map i'm expecting. I understand the removal of the garanteed map drop from bosses (avoid boss rushing), but this current state just don't make sense if you can't get the map 100% of the time, when you invest into having a 100% chance to drop the map. Hope this get addressed sometime. Last bumped on Sep 30, 2022, 6:13:00 PM

I think archnem mods that convert drops also convert the dropped map.

The passive effect of map drops has never made much difference in any iteration of the atlas.
I've only ever noticed between 0 and 140. Juicing has always been the majority influence. They removed boss map drops? I didn't even notice. One thing they certainly need to fix is white/yellow maps dropping with 4 stones. That's just so dumb. "Never trust floating women." -Officer Kirac

" I should've explain my map stratregy to make it easier to understand, my bad. Here is the thing, I allocate Wandering Path Keystone (small nodes have double effect), then I allocate enough small nodes with the "2% chance for one Monster in each of your Maps to drop an additional conneceted Map" (4% with Wandering Path) until I have 100% chance. Then I allocate the Shadow Shaping to make my favourited not be able to drop. Now, I wan't to play Waste Pool Map and Dunes Map back to back, so I selected as favourite maps all the maps that are connected to this two maps but one of them. Now, I have 100% chance to drop a connected map, wich is Dunes, for Waste Pool, and Waste Pool, for Dunes, because any other connected map to them can't be dropped, so its forced to always drop one of them, and I can cycle them. Bosses still drop maps, even connected ones, but its not garanteed anymore, because the small passive nodes that give chance to drop a connected map used to refer to Boss, and not a random monster in the map. |
