Voidstones, compass and sextant - a mystery
Hi there,
I should mention first that I'm German. My English is pretty good, I think, but all the texts (in-game and here in the forum) surrounding the compass/sextant thing make no sense to me... Surveyor's compass reads "stores a sextant modifier in an Item" Errrr, what? I only know the awakened sextant, but that doesn't have mods... Even worse is the text at the bottom: A to select, then A on a voidstone to itemize an applied sextant modifier". Honestly, I couldn't understand less if was written in suawheli lol. Then the awakened sextant: "adds or relolls a modifier on a voidstone"... Errr??? I have 2 different voidstones, both have one mod, the 25% chance for higher tier maps, so whats to reroll or add there? Last bumped on Sep 27, 2022, 12:51:32 PM

You can apply sextants to voidstones like you do alchemy orbs or chisels to maps. It will give the voidstone a random modifier that will affect all maps. It has 3 uses and will have one use consumed every time you run a amp.
The compass allows you to store the modifier rolled on a voidstone once you have used a sextant on a voidstone. Last edited by gladiatorpie#3317 on Sep 27, 2022, 12:50:50 PM
