"The Ribbon Spool" Quest Party softlock

Was in the middle of running through act 3 with a friend of mine in the party and went to clear the solaris temple 2. As I was clearing the floor, my party member went and picked up the spool in battlements then teleported to me. After reaching Dialla his quest progressed and mine didn't. Went back to try and pick up the spool only for the box to already be open and no way for me to get the ribbon to drop. I've swapped characters, relogged, ran through the entirety of act 3's maps on foot to try and reload the floor. Nothing i do seems to fix it and I cannot progress the quest to clear the Undying Blockage.
