Tiny's Trial Doesn't Work with Simplex Amulet

To start the trial you need to place a white item into the Tiny's Trial crafting bench. You first options are to Transmute and then Alt-spam the item to get some favorable rolls before Regaling, exalting, etc.

Transmuting does change the item into a magic item, but there are no modifiers, likewise the alterations do not work. Regaling does work, and make it into a 1-mod rare and the other orbs also work. Still, because there are only 3 exalts, you cannot even get a 6-mod item out of the bench.

I see. You're saying that it also affects the amulet in Magic form, where it can only have 1 of each bringing the max to 0. I suppose that it could make it too easy to craft if you could roll it magically in that way. Can probably resolve this one then.
