Easiest way to get onslaught? *Bane Occultist*

I have been inactive for a while. Back in my day we used Onslauhgt Jewels. Have not found a good replacement yet. Thus far I anoint Graceful Assault on my amulett, any alternatives?
Let tomorrow be about solutions. Today is about vengeance.

Veiled mod on boots: movespeed + chance to gain onslaught
There's a more expensive option--Onslaught on Hit synth rings or Onslaught synth boots.
The boot chance to gain on kill is probably your most economical bet since onslaught doesn't actually increase damage on a bane build and its primary purpose will be to run around maps faster.

There's the support gem, but I assume you want to save that spot for a "more" damage mod?
What is the value of my own life when it is taken from others so easily?

bane doesnt hit
There's no easy way to get onslaught anymore, sadly. The most optimal way for a build that doesn't hit seems to be boots with onslaught implicit. You could also go for "you have onslaught during soul gain prevention" suffix if you have empty suffixes on your gear and are using vaal skills
"buff grenades"

- Buff Grenades (Buff-Grenades)
Assuming you're using Wither totems, you could get a cluster jewel with Sleepless Sentries (Onslaught if summoned totem recently) and Ancestral Echo (10% increased cast speed) or Ancestral Inspiration (Arcane Surge). You might also find a good Megalomaniac with it.

Bane often plays with either Essence Drain or Soulrend, which do.

for mapping, bane doesnt need to cast these.

source - level 99 bane occultist 'Diesa_Bane'.

yes, i have an essence drain link. i use it about twice per map. once on the boss, once on some stupidly tanky archnem. beyond that, im casting bane and moving to the next pack.
