Ambush challenge not counting opened strongboxes

As per the title, I have opened numerous Operative's and Cartographer's strongboxes and they do not count as credited in the challenge window (not in-game nor in my profile on the website).

Just to be sure, they are rare and corrupted right?

Rare but not corrupted... The phrasing did not suggest to me they had to be both, just either/or. I guess that was the issue then.

I've set my atlas for ONLY rare corrupted with bonus to Cartographer's only (excluded all other strong box boosts). I've run hundreds of maps and still haven't seen a corrupted and rare (let alone a plain) cartographer's strongbox... What am I missing?
