Spell with biggest aoe at low level

I'm using a cwdt-ice nova-culling strike setup now to apply a curse and exposure on hit.

Is there a better spell than ice nova with bigger area coverage to ensure more enemies get hit??

Things like ball lightning can go across the screen, so in that sense they are better.

You can use spell cascade to increase area because you arent worried about the damage loss.


Longterm you want gloves or a ring to provide curse on hit, or if you use marks, use the Mark on Hit Support.

I like Storm brand for curse on hit, I only apply it to bosses really anyway because trash is going to die either way. If you find a hard archnemesis rare you can storm brand it, or large packs.

But mostly trash should be exploding. Check the trade site for a good curse on hit ring or corrupted gloves (the curse on hit will be an implicit, have to select that in the trade search part).

Thanks! I'm already using on hit ring, but i dont have any 'hit' spells since I'm running a rf-fire trap build. Had to depend on frostblink and cwdt-ice nova to trigger the curse
