What should i spend my money on in the game?

I am just starting the game and was wondering how far can I go in the game before I should buy something which I don't mind doing to support the game but don't want to buy stupid things so what is a must to pay for in the game and gets me ahead a bit.

the only thing that *remotely* helps you 'get ahead' are stash tabs.

currency tab, map tab, 1 premium tab (lets you list items for sale publicly)

if you go quick, those should be on sale right now. otherwise wait 3 weeks for them to go on sale again.

Honestly, I wouldn't buy anything until you're sure you're going to keep playing the game and investing time in the endgame. An awful lot of players hit a brick wall on reaching endgame maps and either take a long while to really progress or just stop playing.

Reach that point first, then decide whether you think it's worthwhile to spend money on the game or not. Sales on stash tabs happen every 3 weeks or so, so you won't be missing out on anything by holding off.

You scared me a bit about the game being so tuff at the later parts of the game I am already getting killed a lot and find the game pretty tuff right off the get-go, but I am having fun!

I would not buy anything unless I (a) reached maps and (b) was enjoying the game of course! You don't necessarily need one around that point, but it will make your life easier if you keep progressing.

Your first purchases should be a currency tab, map tab and one premium tab (agree with Thor).

New players have a tendency to pick up a lot of junk, which is understandable. This becomes a problem because even with the aforementioned tabs, your inventory is somewhat limited. Get used to updating your loot filter, or simply subscribing to Neversink's filters and selecting stricter filters as you progress.

I can pay for a bigger stash in the game.

a 'bigger stash' is actually a trap.

it just means you keep more junk. the specialized tabs sort stuff and help keep you organized. the basic tabs just mean you have piles of stuff to wade through.

Tabs tabs and more tabs. That's their bread and butter, killer app, and ours too and everyone knows it. Note: they NEVER give tabs away and only a 11% discount on sale!

Anything else wait until super sales of 50-60% off.

Stash tabs are must-have in trade league especially currency, map and 1 premium quad tab for item selling.
In ssf you will only need 50 nonpremium stashtabs for chaos and other recipes.

My profits went from earning 5chaos/day from trade to 2divine/day and all i did was to upgrade my stash tab to premium and public it. To do it manually takes forever and the forum posts often break making you waste upwards of 2 hours to re-edit it to unbroken state. They should've at least provide "mini premium" tab for players that is 10x10 squares to give them taste of how QoL and great it is.(cough cough..p2w in trade league)

if you have more points get more premium tabs, diminishing returns are at like 16 tabs and even still you get chaos orb recipe space so there is never enough.
I have 12 tabs full over 20 characters full including inventory and more...

as f2p you waste so much time muling on 20accounts and managing all those shops that you can say goodbye to 1/3 of your playtime.


It is stash sale day today, so it is best time to get the needed ones

You win cosmetics from leagues, twitch, free boxes and events. So buy only tabs, character slots to maximize your player-power(efficiency) benefits.


You really do not have to spend much, if you spend 60$ you can have 5000hours of fun with great QoL. Even spending just 20$ is enough to be in good position

Games do need income to keep growing and to develop more. And the pay system here is quite fair, probably the most fair around.

Edit: My sale pitch was so good that i went ahead and bought some more tabs myself :^)
