"Classic" PoE server, please

Simple suggestion; go the way of WoW Classic and add a league/whatever that uses the gameplay of an older version of the game. 3.13 seems pretty popular.

You don't need new content for this, that's the point. Just a refreshed league every 3 months with no changes would probably make for some happy campers. Maybe throw in fun stuff like recombinators once in a while, but nothing that looks like poe2 or whatever.

This should give you fairly high returns for little cost. Extra maintenance for these new servers/etc, of course, but lots of people will solely play it and buy MTX from you.


Peeps who want constantly updating content and new metas can continue to play the new expansions as they come out.

Well it used to be, they tried new things out in the league (throw shit on the wall, see what sticks) as a "beta" version and you had standard to play as your "stable" version. Then they decided whether and how something went into the core game.

Now they are just changing everything left and right, both in the temporary league and in standard. Untested crap? Directly into standard.

I would prefer that it goes to the original mode but I'll take a "classic" server too...

I'd argue they don't need yet another version/project to work on and balance besides PoE 2, mobile, console versions.
But the pressure/opportunity for some people to figure out how to make PoE private servers probably was never higher than right now with many people looking for that kind of PoE. I doubt it will happen or it would have already and I don't condone it and still hope GGG can turn this around but I would be tempted to play some older patches too right now.

3.13 balance with current end game/passive atlas, would be perfect. I'd pay to play that.

nice idea, especially since players already paid for poe 1 and even poe 2 in fact but the point is they paid for poe 1
