Is the "Path of Exile Mobile" August 2022 release in the Google Play store legitimate?

...It is being advertised as Path of Exile Mobile. But players must pay premium fees upfront before they can enter the game in it. Plus it is listed as being from a different developer than GGG. Is it legit or is it a scam?

***Update:*** After my post here about the fake "Path of Exile Mobile" app here 1-2 weeks ago & your follow-up about it, that app was removed from the Google Play Store.
But now I see that a couple of days later on Aug. 23, that app was just replaced by an identical-looking "Path of Exile Mobile" app. I.e. it looks as if that app is already back in the Google Play Store. The only difference I can see is that it is listed as being from a different developer now. But it otherwise appears to be the same scam as before. |

Was looking it up on play store.
Still there.. and regarding to the comments (german ones for me) .. it seems to be a pure scam. No membership -> no playing Someone even paid for membership, still can't play. I hope GGG adresses that problem. The brand gets tainted, when people download that or read about "PAth of Exile" being a scam. Reason Apple ecosystem is above and beyond superior to alternative platforms. Like you won’t see scams like this in the Apple store. Too bad they make it themselves to be undesirable for game development.
