Divine blessing + arrogance

Alright so lifetap no longer supports divine blessing instead we should use arrogance but it doesn't work as well. Anyone experienced the same? Am I doing something wrong?

Reckon when I've tried using Arrogance instead of Lifetap for Divine Blessing I was quite stunned to see that Arrogance did indeed made me pay the reservation cost in life, but did nothing for the extra mana cost that Divine Blessing gives to a skill. In other words, with Arrogance a Divine Blessing will cost you both Life (for the % part) AND mana (for the extra part from the support).
Lifetap solved this problem by making both the % reservation and extra part cost you life - but now it's no longer a thing. The only other way to bypass (sort of) the extra mana cost is to use Eldritch Battery. In that case it will cost you Life (for the % part) and ES (for the extra mana cost). Though of course not everyone want to wear a Devouring Diadem or are actually using Arcane Surge the normal way |

Alright thank you, so that was the reason I couldn't cast it, I thought it was cause arrogance didn't work but the truth is that they basically fucked the blessing ahahshs
