Wave of Conviction Elementalist: Ignite vs Shock?

I tried Ignite WoC Elementalist last league and it was fun. But now that we have a new lightning support gem, would a Shock WoC Elementalist be... better? (with the same investment in gear ofc)

If you're elementalist... why not both? Ingite's damage will be boosted by shock's increased damage taken.
