Minimum Power Charges cap

Ive learned the hierophant ascendancy "Conviction of power" node the disciple of the Forbidden and took 2 rare rings with +1 to minimum power charge. But it gave only 4 charges total. Does that mean that i can't get minimum cap over maximum?

Actually, you can have your Minimum charge higher than your Maximum Charges. It's just that the Maximum Charge will take over the number of Minimum Charges.
In other words, if you just take Conviction of Power you will have 4 minimum Endurance Charges and 4 minimum Power Charges, which are both higher than the default 3 Maximum Power Charges and 3 Maximum Endurance Charges. You will, nevertheless, have only 3 Power Charges and Endurance Charges active at all the time. In order for you to get those extra 1 minimum charges, you will need to raise your Maximum Charges accordingly - in this case, you need to invest both in a +1 Maximum Power Charge and +1 Maximum Endurance Charge. As a final note, remember that Minimum Charges cannot be consumed from skills. Having 1 Minimum Frenzy charge doesn't mean you can spam for free Flicker Strike, for example |
