Polymath from Trickster what is "per different category of Mastery passive skills"

Hi,
I don't understand that, please elaborate. "3% more Damage for each different type of Mastery you have Allocated" what is the Mastery thing? are they on the Skilltree, or are they the things from the Ascendancy, do they mean, each element and on hit damage and damage over time Mastery keystone? They mean the passive-tree-masteries, the ones in the middle of passive-clusters you can take when you took a notable in that cluster.
"For each different type of Mastery" just means you only get the 3% more once for every mastery, even if you take several points of that mastery (For example +50 life AND vitality reservation efficency from the life-mastery would still only give you 3% more).
