Banned for "account sharing".
Hi there,
I made an appeal almost a week ago and it's still pending review. Surely it couldn't take a week to view what I assume was an automated ban due to logging in via a VPN? Has anyone else had this happen? Last bumped on Aug 19, 2022, 6:33:36 AM

It can take upwards of a month.
All you can do is be patient until they get back to you. "Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning."

Do NOT email them again, doing so will put you at the VERY bottom of the queue.

Hi there, rest assured the appropriate team members will review your appeal as soon as possible. :)

Wow. Sounds horrendous. Only ever play league starts for about a month. Guess I'll be playing on a new account?

" well good chance that a new account will then get banned also if you already have a BAN "active" that is "unresolved"..... And it's allowed to use a VPN so that's not it..... Last edited by HanSoloDK#4843 on Aug 19, 2022, 1:14:51 AM

" After doing a bit of digging through steams recent login history I found the following. Jul 5, 2022 @ 1:59am BST 16 JP Tokyo Tokyo Jul 10, 2022 @ 8:48pm BST 16 JP Tokyo Tokyo Jul 10, 2022 @ 11:31am BST 16 NL Amsterdam Noord-Holland I stopped playing Sentinel mid June and have logged in a handful of times up to the 10th of July. That is the only 3 times I've logged in via a VPN according to steam. Then banned on the 12th of July, coincidence? I only noticed I was banned when I tried to login to buy packs after the live stream. On that note won't be spending another penny. Support is woeful when it comes to appeals it seems. Imagine only having one channel to try to resolve these issues which could take up to a month. Absolutely shambolic. |

The accounts investigation team is small and they have a back log. It has nothing to do with them being woeful. <shakes head>
Yes, coincidence. You are looking for something that isn't there. "Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning."
