Challenger Trophy for Hideout - Please make easier to get smallest one to memorialize league play

Could you please make it easier to get a challenger trophy for leagues? I've missed getting trophies for more than one leagues I've seriously played over the last couple of years. Sentinel league is the latest example. 200+ hours played. Level 97 character. Red maps. Couldn't even get the smallest stub of a challenger trophy for my hideout without jumping through a bunch of challenge hoops that just didn't look like much fun.

Makes sense that I don't get the higher challenge point MTX. I make those decisions each league depending on how much I like them and how much I might want them, but (to me) the challenge trophy is more of a record of the fact that I played/experienced a league. It's a small thing, but it makes me sad that my hideout is missing trophies for leagues I've felt I've fully experienced. Even if I just get a tiny, squat, embarrassingly small challenge trophy, at least it's something. Feels bad man.

I currently have 17 varying sizes of trophies from 1 height to a full 40 point trophy with wings. Different leagues and mtx rewards call me in different ways and I'm cool with that. Just sucks that I don't get them for all the leagues I've significantly experienced.

Could you please make it more reasonable to get the smallest challenge trophy for my hideouts?

Suggestions: Get the smallest trophy for (in order of preference)...
* reaching maps
* reaching 12 challenge points (this is usually pretty reasonable if you play a bit and get to the first mtx breakpoint).
* reaching level 90

Not to disregard what you said, but it's a challenge trophy, there should be some level of challenge to get it.

Understood. Just seems the entry level is becoming increasingly challenging over the last few leagues. Would like the "first", smallest trophy to be adjusted a bit. If there was just one trophy variant/size, I'd agree with you about the "challenge". In older leagues, didn't even have to think about it.
I wrote similiar post 4 years ago. In the meantime I was able to do 40/40 challenges (3.17) and understand many things related to the game and mechanics.

After the last patch (3.18) I decided to add my two cents here.

I agree - "trophy" from the definition is a reward for doing sth challenging. It shouldn't be easy to obtain (and it isn't now).

BUT, at the same time this is the only known way to have league souvenir (which you can easily associate with a specific league).

How hard it was to complete challenges in last league compared to 3.17?

My friends who had +36 challenges in 3.17 finished 3.18 between 7-15...
I have never spent so much time playing a league like in 3.18 and I finished with 20 challenges, just to get souvenir (I won't talk how much private life and health it costed me).

At the end of the day I finished buying most of the challenges on TFT, because I don't enjoy fighting X times bosses to complete all conditions, etc. :/

For "casual" players the 19 challenges milestone stopped be achievable in reasonable (casual playing) time.

In this case I upvote the suggestion -> could you lower requirements to get the first trophy?

Souvenir for each league played makes sense. I get that the small trophy shouldn't be trivial to get, but it shouldn't be HARD either.

Doesn't matter this league I think. Think I'm prouder not to get a trophy for this league (Lake of K) anyway. I'm at a point in this league I normally would be running red maps comfortably, but I'm getting one-shot in whites and can't keep minions alive. Not worth the trouble. Seems like the difficulty of getting the smallest trophy is a symptom of the same problem that's been building for a few leagues. Power is fun. I don't expect to be able to take on the uber stuff with my casual+ playstyle, but I miss the fun of being powerful and building power each league. Harder and harder just to reach baseline competence.

So yes, please fix the intro challenge trophies to be more reasonable to get, but not today. Bigger fish to fry. I miss feeling like a veteran player. Seems like you'd rather I feel like a newb. I get that you probably aren't doing it on purpose and you have a vision. My take... what you're visioning/creating isn't working. Is this a stealth reveal of the implementation of hard mode? Would have liked to have had it as a choice.

/rant off. Feeling some sadness at the state of things. Good luck moving forward. I have faith for the future, but concern too.

there are other mtx you get before the totems...
sorry, but if you complain about not getting CHALLENGE rewards easily, and we're talking about the entry level of the totem, i dunno...
maybe just dont even bother at all?
like, dont get me wrong, but if the only effort you bring for getting challenge rewards, is to make it easier to get those... that's the wrong approach...

It doesn't impact anyone negatively if the first stub of the totem is fairly easy to get - as a memento of having played the league. Maybe it'll even spark more interest in pushing for more challenges, which benefits everyone through higher retention.

Maybe they could also track and distinguish challenges completed in hardcore. E.g. by offering a bloodied version of the totem parts in addition to or as a variant to the regular one. 40/40 in hardcore would earn you a full totem drenched in blood. For partial completion in hardcore, the blood only reaches the appropriate tier of the totem.

Actually I think the Kalandra challenges are a lot more casual friendly than the sentinel ones were + plus the early start with 6... Sure, the base pole shows the league logo, but the other rewards always were a good souvenir as well - more so when the league in question was obvious like breach, blight, harbinger (ok blight helmet and all harbinger stuff were ugly, but recognizable). The ophidian set just had nothing to do with Sentinel, another "tron"-ish automation style look would have been better.
The current set looks fitting for the league style, though it could be named more clearly, e.g "Kalandras's Iridescent Helmet attachment" to be more of a souvenir...

That's fairly short-sighted thinking. If the first totem stub was easy to get, I guarantee it will slippery slope into more and eventually all the totem parts being easy to get.
