Impact Slayer Ascendancy Range

Does the proximity range for the 15% more damage mod of the slayer Impact ascendancy benefit from increases to area of effect?
If not, is there a way to increase it?
I am using cyclone and I'd prefer to keep my distance as much as possible.

No, there is no way to increase it. If you are playing big cyclone and staying away, you don't want to allocate that.

Oh well... disappointed.
Was kind of hoping it would increase as a ratio to my area of effect.
Still useful just for the extra area of effect. I guess the extra damage is also good for those that make it too close as well. I sort of dive in the middle of mobs...most of the time.
