burning damage into lightning damage.. is this possible ? - no it isnt

What happens if a skelleton minion has an infernal legion support gem and the player is wearing the unique triad grip gloves with four blue sockets ?

It states: "Minions convert 25% of Physical Damage to Lightning Damage per Blue
Socket"


So, the pure physical damage of the skelletion is converted into lightning damage.
So for so good.. BUT, what happens with the burning damage from infernal legion support gem?

It states: "Minions from Supported Skills deal (15.6-1316) Fire Damage per second
to Enemies near them"


and now...? do we have "lightning damage per second" ? No, we dont.


opps, my bad.. nothing happens, because it is no physical damage !

+ damage conversion does NOT apply to damage over time.

As you noted, DoT damage cant be converted.

Also, Triad grips only convert PHSYICAL damage.

FYI
Conversion is a one way affair
Phys--> Light-->Cold-->Fire-->Chaos

Conversion can skip a step, but can only go in one direction.

I.E. Lightning damage can be converted to fire, but can never be converted to physical.
