Are abyssal depths bosses worth it?

I've specced my atlas for extra abysses and I'm pretty happy since I liked the league and I like the content. However I'm not sure about increasing the chance to spawn the bosses, or even engaging with the bosses.

It seems to me like I'm spending minutes on the boss, and it drops garbage (as usual). Even the 2 abyss socket items have been nerfed and are not that expensive (and they almost never drop anyway).

Do I just clear the depth and then relog to go back to my map? Or is the exp from the boss worth it (I don't think so)?

So there are a few good things about depths

Very easy source of ilvl 86 gear if you needed high bases for crafting, add influence too etc

2nd best source of high level eyeballs (after Tujen)

86+ Stygian vices also tend to be worth looting and AFAIK the boss always drops one.

The uniques are sadly pretty meh now outside of 2 sockets + corrupted which are usually worth a modest amount.

I realise you asked about the boss specifically but was just laying the rest out there. I kill the bosses if its <~3 minutes to do so for the belt and corruption opportunity, they drop the samurai's eye card too which occasionally results in a none shitty watchers eye.

Overall though if you were diehard min/maxing I think relog is most efficient, as long as you do go straight back into a map.
